First Lego League Competition

  This Saturday, the Humanitree Robotics team travelled to the Tecnológico de Monterrey for the First Lego League competition. Over the first two terms, the Humanitree Robotics club along with Mr Marc and Mr Daniel have been meeting every Wednesday after school to work on their submission for the competition. This year's 'Masterpiece' theme focused on the student's interpretation of what art  means to them. Across two different teams, the 13 Humanitree students created some enormously creative and innovative designs using the Lego Spike Essential kits. Inspired by their own hobbies and interests, the student's builds included theme parks, museums, football stadiums, music stages and more. Using the Lego Spike Essential app, the students showcased their coding skills, coding the various mechanical parts to move, speak and light up in various different ways.
